
Olusola Owonikoko, Executive Director, Project Enable Africa will be speaking at Social Impact Tech Summit 2025!
Olusola works at the intersection of inclusion, development, and business. He has over a decade of experience in building organisations, designing & implementing social impact programs/products targeted at promoting development outcomes for underserved populations, especially persons with disabilities; and has worked with several notable brands in the private/public/civil society sectors.
His flagship initiative, Project Enable Africa, promotes digital inclusion, advocacy & access to assistive technologies for persons with disabilities and sets up the first inclusion hub in Nigeria to train talents with disabilities & connect them to economic opportunities.
In 2015, following a question he asked President Barack Obama during a Presidential Townhall meeting, he was invited to the White House. He has since spoken at several international conferences, including the UN Conferences; African Eye Festival, UK; & International ICT4D Conference, Uganda. His public engagement goal is to promote African-led development, inclusion, & innovation; positioning the continent to harness its demographic dividends.
He holds a Master’s degree in Globalisation, Business & Development from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK. And Certificates in Social Epidemiology, Entrepreneurship, & Civic Leadership from Harvard School of Public Health, University of Maryland, & Wagner College, respectively.
He volunteers as the President of the U.S. Consulate Carrington Fellowship program; and a member of the World Bank’s S4YE Youth Advisory Group.
