The Social Impact Tech Summit (SITSummit) is an annual flagship event convened by Coappt to drive conversations, connections and collaborations at the intersection of technology and social development. It serves as a platform for changemakers, innovators, policymakers, and development leaders to explore how emerging technologies can accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and create inclusive, lasting impact.
Following the resounding success of its maiden edition in 2025, which hosted over 1,000 participants in Lagos and across the 23 American Spaces in Nigeria, SITSummit returns with renewed focus deepening collaboration, spotlighting local innovation, and scaling digital solutions that transform lives and communities.
This edition is anchored on the theme “Scaling Frontier Technologies for Sustainable Development in Africa.” The summit seeks to move conversations from ideas to implementation examining how Africa can harness frontier technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Web3, and Immersive Realities (AR/VR) to achieve inclusive growth, climate resilience, and sustainable prosperity in Africa.
